Hi friends!

Hope enjoying the lovely fall weather, and staying warm! I had intended to write earlier in the season, but I’m still noticing a lot of gorgeous colors happening! We enjoy the sights of glorious bursts of color in our trees, the sound of the rustling leaves, and what are the smells of fall? The cools winds are blowing in a season where we love to brew up some warm herbal tea, make some spicy cookies and maybe bake delicious roasted vegetables — to name a few aromas!

In my diffuser I’m switching it up from the lighter essential oils of summer to the warming spicy and “foresty” aromas. Some of my favorites to diffuse are in the following blends:

(Note: In all discussions about oils, I only recommend Certified Pure Therapuetic Grade, CPTG)

Woodsy Walk Diffuser Blend

* 3 drops arborvitae

* 3 drops cinnamon

Harvest Diffuser Blend

* 3 drops cinnamon

* 2 drops cedarwood

* 1 drop wild orange

Autumn Leaves Diffuser Blend

* 2 drops Juniper Berry

* 3 drops Wild Orange

If you don’t yet have a diffuser, you can put these blends in a spray bottle with water and spritz your rooms and whole house! I do this real quick when I’m expecting company, or if I just feel we need a lift in the house! Then I turn and spritz myself for a nice perfume and a lift! (I love knowing  oils are pure, therapeutic grade and non-toxic.)

OR you can put a drop of each of these oils in the palm of one hand, rub hands together, make a cup of one hand and wrap the other hand around it. Now bring this cup up to your nose and breathe deep and long! (Close your eyes as some oils are a little strong, plus it’s kinda nice to disappear into the experience!) Do this a few times and notice the SHIFT! How sweet and amazing is that!

AND in lieu of having an assortment of oils, OnGuard Protective blend is a really nice single item to diffuse this time of year.
srnl protective blend

OnGuard is one of the most popular and versatile essential oil blends. The combination of Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary is first line of defense for immune support.* It is a non-toxic and superb way to support the immune system.* Being a Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oil blend, it’s safe for the whole family. (See my website: www.mydoterra.com/junehalliday for more info.)

On the emotional side, OnGuard is called the “Oil of Protection.” (Ref: Emotions & Essential Oils) … incredibly helpful for strengthening the inner Self along with the inner resolve to stand up for one’s Self and live in integrity. … gives individuals strength to say “no” and resolve to maintain clear boundaries. …. Greatly assists individuals in learning to stand up for themselves and live in integrity with their True Self.

OUR STORY!

Whenever my husband, Jim is starting to get a scratchy throat or sniffle, he now comes to me asking for OnGuard! A few drops on the tongue, or sprayed from the small spray bottle (could be mixed with water or not) as often as every 1/2 hour. I also make a point of diffusing it into the house at those times, or spraying the home and surfaces with a spray bottle and a few drops of the oil. We are happily finding out how amazing it is at strengthening our immune system and helping us stay well and strong — and keeping things from spreading! Yay!
